]]> FINALLY I am able to post some pictures from the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. I had to wait until I was sent the logo to put on the pictures, as the photos are now property of the CCEE.

 

These pictures are a reflection of some of my favorite celebrities from some of my favorite movies and TV shows. And of course, the great Stan Lee, the creator of all things Marvel. I may post more in the future, but for now check out my favorites!

]]> Check out a feature story I wrote about stereotypes within the trades industry. I got the inspiration for this story sitting around one day at a friend’s house, and observing him discuss with his roomate about something in his apprenticeship homework. It made me realize that these men (and women) are a lot smarter and deserve more credit for their education than many give them. I wish I would have had more time to spend working on this story, and I am considering continuing to investigate into the industry and the perceptions the public has of it in further writing opportunities.

]]> Every photographer can remember a time or two (or many) when they have accidentally under or over exposed when taking a photo. More times than not, you can fix that in Photoshop. Unless you really messed up…

Well when I was out shooting photos at the opening of the new Peace Bridge in Calgary, I dramatically overexposed a few shots before I realized what was going on. I thought for sure they would be trash, but when looking through my shots after, I found this particular shot. I took this into Photoshop, but only to do some very slight color adjustments.

 

I am not sure if you will all agree, but I find it pretty awesome for a total mistake. Let me know what you think.
